Lena Park
Editor-in-Chief
Covering the human side of AI relationships
Lena Park spent six years at Stanford's Institute for Human-Centered AI researching how people form emotional bonds with conversational agents — long before "AI girlfriend" was a search term. She left academia in 2024 to write for a general audience because, in her words, "the gap between what the research shows and what people read online about AI companions was getting embarrassing." At MyAIBae she sets editorial direction, edits the product reviews, and writes the harder pieces on AI ethics, consent, and the new shape of online intimacy. Lena holds an MSc in Cognitive Science from the University of Edinburgh and is based in London.
