Privacy Policy

1. Summary

This policy explains what information is processed when you visit my-ai-bae.com (MyAIBae, "we", "us"). In short:

• There are no accounts and nothing to buy on the site, so we never ask for your email address or payment details.
• We measure our audience with PostHog and Google Analytics (section 3).
• When you click a partner link, you leave our site for a partner site, which applies its own privacy policy (section 5).
• If you use AI Match or AI Horoscope, the first name you type is saved and shown on a public page (section 6).

2. Information you give us

• In AI Match and AI Horoscope: a first name and, for AI Horoscope, a zodiac sign (section 6).
• By email: if you write to us, we receive your email address and your message, and we use them to reply to you.

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect payment information.

3. Audience measurement

PostHog

We use PostHog, through its European service (eu.i.posthog.com), to understand how the site is used. It records, for example, the pages you view, the page that sent you to us, the links and buttons you click (including partner links) and technical details such as your browser, type of device and screen size. PostHog receives your IP address with this information and uses it to estimate your approximate location, such as your country.

PostHog is set up to store nothing on your device (no cookies, no local storage) and not to record your session. It therefore keeps no identifier that would recognize you when you come back, and we do not create individual visitor profiles.

Google Analytics

We also use Google Analytics, a Google service. It loads on every page, but in “consent mode”: until you accept analytics in the cookie banner, it stores nothing on your device and sends Google only measurement signals without any cookie. If you accept, it places its cookies (such as _ga), which let it recognize your browser from one visit to the next, and records the pages you view and information about your visit, such as the page that sent you to us, your type of device and your approximate location.

The cookie banner

The cookie banner saves your choice (“Accept All”, “Decline” or your settings under “Customize”, where nothing is pre-ticked) in your browser and is not shown again once you have chosen. It switches Google Analytics cookies on or off, and your choice is applied again each time you come back.

The banner does not control PostHog, which stores nothing on your device. Its "Essential" and "Preference" categories do not correspond to any cookie: apart from Google Analytics, the site does not place cookies.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, and block or delete cookies, including those of Google Analytics, in your browser settings.

4. Information stored in your browser

The site also stores the following information in your browser. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.

• Your choice in the cookie banner, with the date and time you made it (local storage, "myaibae_cookie_consent").
• The page that sent you to us, the first page you opened and any campaign tags in the link (session storage, "myaibae_utm"). It is deleted when you close the tab.

You can delete this information at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

5. Partner links

When you click a partner link, your browser first goes through an address on our own domain (my-ai-bae.com/api/go/…), which sends you to the affiliate network CrakRevenue and then to the partner's site.

The link we send you to contains our affiliate identifier, a short tag showing where on our site the click came from (the type of page, the position of the link and, for some pages, part of the page address) and your country code (for example "FR"). Our server gets this country code from Cloudflare and also uses it to choose the offer. We do not add your name, email address or IP address to the link.

Once you are redirected, CrakRevenue and the partner receive the information that any website receives, such as your IP address and browser details, and they may place their own cookies, for example to record that you came from our site. Their own privacy policies apply. If you sign up or buy something on a partner site, we may receive a commission.

6. AI Match and AI Horoscope

AI Match (my-ai-bae.com/your-match) asks for a first name. AI Horoscope (my-ai-bae.com/ai-horoscope) asks for a first name and a zodiac sign. Neither tool asks for your date of birth or any other information.

The result is put together on our server from pre-written texts and a character from our catalog. What you type is not sent to any outside service, including AI services.

We save each result on our server: the first name you typed (up to 40 characters), the zodiac sign for AI Horoscope, the texts and the character selected, and the date and time the result was created. The IP address of the request is not saved with the result: the server only uses it, in its working memory, to limit the number of requests.

The result page is public. Its address is based on the name you typed (for example my-ai-bae.com/your-match/emma-…), and the same name (with the same sign, for AI Horoscope) always leads to the same page. Anyone with the link can open it. These pages ask search engines not to list them and are not in our sitemap. Because the name is part of the address, it also appears in our audience measurement data (section 3) when the page is viewed.

Result pages stay online until they are deleted.

7. Other services that receive information

Like any website, ours cannot work without some technical information, such as your IP address, the address of the page you request and the type of browser you use. Besides the services described above (PostHog, Google, CrakRevenue and partner sites), this information is received by:

• Cloudflare, which delivers our pages and tells our server which country your connection comes from;
• the company that hosts our server;
• the websites of some apps we review: some review pages show images, such as screenshots or logos, loaded directly from those websites.

Some of these services may process information outside your country. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when the law requires it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its use.

As there are no accounts, please include details that help us find the data concerned, for example the address of a result page. For data held by Google, PostHog, CrakRevenue or a partner site, you can also contact them directly.

9. Security

Our pages are served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

10. Adults only

The site is for adults only and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information about minors.
